More Info:
Cruit island is no longer as isolated as it once was as it is now linked by a causeway, one small roadway and this tiny pedestrian bridge. This was the only time I saw such a thing and it made a fantastic set of geometric shapes across the more natural landscape. I'm intrigued by the idea of how islands 'feel' like islands until humans place a link between the island and the mainland and then that sense is gone forever. Despite this Cruit remains a stunningly beautiful place and the access means a greater accessibility to the Island.
