In my work, I am interested in how quickly we perceive and label what’s around us; what’s beautiful and what’s not, what’s useful and what’s wasteful... we instinctively categorize what deserves attention and what we take for granted. With this piece of work I want to challenge those perceptions, giving greater status to subjects that would perhaps otherwise go unnoticed.
