The Doorway Gallery will be hosting weekly online exhibitions called ‘Getting to know’.
We feel that people now have time to get to know our artists. Some of our artists haven’t had solo shows with the gallery yet, so we thought it would be nice to provide an insight into the typical lifestyle of our artists. and to be able to really get to know The Doorway Gallery Artists.
We want you to experience the journey that the painting makes before it hits the gallery setting.
We want to show you the artist studios and the works the masterpieces that are in the making.
Some of our artists are currently working towards solo shows so the work is ready in their studio so we will get a sneak preview and a chance to discuss the ideas behind the works with the artists in an intimate setting and no interruptions.
We always work three years ahead and all of our artists are busy preparing for these international art fairs. They are building up their masterpieces, so we have plenty to show you!
We will also be featuring online videos and lots of content for you as the customer, to get to know The Doorway Gallery artists.
The artworks will not be shown online until the date of the online exhibition at a certain time so make sure you follow us on our social media accounts here for regular updates and reminders:

This week, we will launch an online exhibition with Michael Morris - ‘New works’.
“Getting to know Michael Morris” will launch on September 28th at 3pm. When the works are posted on our website on 28th September at 3pm, why not try this new series of works on your own wall. With our new App, you can get the unique experience of being able to virtually hang one of Michael Morris’s paintings in your own home! Simply download the app from our website, and follow the setup instructions.
In addition to our solo exhibitions, we will also be hosting a Facebook Q&A evening, so grab yourself a glass of vino, and sit back to enjoy listening to Michael Morris at 8pm on Thursday October 1st on our social media accounts.
