Born in Belfast and based in Northern Ireland, Wilson is known for works that
merge art, science and landscape – from intricate wall pieces to large scale public
installations. His practice spans sculpture and painting, often translating data,
pattern and light into poetic form.
Across his career, Wilson exhibited widely in Ireland, Europe and USA – from the
Ikon Gallery in Birmingham to the Royal Festival Hall in London and the British
Council touring shows in Romania and Bulgaria. His recent projects continue to
draw inspiration from astronomy and natural systems, revealing connections
between the cosmic and the cellular, the landscape and the lab.
